In his spare time, Daniel goes for runs around the neighborhood of East Rock, New Haven, to train for an ultramarathon of unknown distance. He likes to visit Giuffrida Park in Meriden, CT when he needs to edit essays and think about his first novel, Shell Game. His family cares for 9 cats, each with their own distinctive personalities.
