As an integral member of the University of Chicago Law School’s admissions team for almost ten years, Meg worked on every element of the JD application process, from recruiting to reviewing files to graduating successful law school students.
Meg most recently served as the Director of Admissions and Programs at UChicago Law, where she oversaw the JD and JD/MBA admissions process. In these roles, Meg:
As an admissions professional, Meg participated extensively in committee work and law school counseling through the Law School Admissions Committee (LSAC) and the Council on Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO). She has cultivated relationships with her JD admissions peers and learned about the various admissions processes across the law school landscape.
Prior to joining UChicago Law, Meg worked as a medical malpractice defense litigator. Meg attended Boston College and Boston College Law School. Before attending BC Law, Meg worked in the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division.
Meg prioritizes guiding clients to confidently and successfully advocate for themselves at every level of the application process. Having met with thousands of students on their law school journeys, Meg recognizes the importance of building confidence so an applicant can easily convey in both written and interview settings why they want to attend their dream law school and why they will be successful when they are admitted. Meg also supports law students in building foundational skill sets such as perspective and pragmatism so their success continues beyond their law school admission to thriving law careers.
Meg lives in Chicago and promises to only mention her affinity for the greatest city in the world once in a while. More often than not, she can be found creating MagnaTile masterpieces with her two sons and attempting home improvement and design projects to varying degrees of success.
