We have received many questions about law schools' new life experience/perspective essays (formerly categorized as diversity statements). Here are our answers to the most common ones.
Each year, we receive a huge number of questions about when you should include a diversity statement in your application and whether or not your particular identity or experience would warrant submitting such a statement in addition to a personal statement. The answer is not always a simple one.
We wanted to post the below example of a case when a separate diversity statement was not necessary because the personal statement already covered those elements.
