Statement on USNWR Law School Rankings

For the past 7 years, we have been fortunate to have received a copy of the law school rankings before they have been released, and we have provided that copy to the public.

This year, we will not release anything that we may receive early. Over time, we have seen that this creates unnecessary drama and probably over-emphasizes those rankings—which we have extensively blogged and podcasted about (for example here)—that should not be used as the primary tool for any school choice decision-making. We would rather focus on what we do well.
