This course exceeded my expectations. Not only did I get drastically better at legal writing as the course progressed, but also I was able to use Patrick's extensive feedback on my assignments to develop a set of personally-tailored guidelines, which I plan to use as a sort of checklist from now on when I do any legal writing. I’m super excited to share that I was accepted to my target law school via their Binding Decision program, so my cycle is officially over and I’ll be going there this Fall! Tom Robinson was a calming and grounding presence throughout what was otherwise a nerve-racking process. I would especially recommend him to people who are decently strong writers and have no clue how to narrow down ideas for their applications! I know this might annoy him because saying this in a public testimonial completely defeats the whole point of his persona, but I’ll say it anyway: he under-promises, and over-delivers.
