I am transferring to Columbia Law School and could NOT have done this process without Paula Gluzman. While I am choosing to attend Columbia, I got accepted into 5 out of the 7 T-14 schools I applied to. She had the perfect balance of letting me explore what I wanted to write about in my personal and diversity statements, while still being guiding and helpful. During my time with Spivey, I worked with Emily Allen for scholarship reconsideration. Despite being a point under a school’s median LSAT, Emily successfully helped me increase my scholarship from 50% to 75%. Without Emily’s insights and advice, I don’t think this would have been possible. She had great communication and was always prepared for our conversations. She coached me through the “ask” process, allowing me to feel confident and secure in my own negotiation ability. I appreciate her honesty and dedication throughout this process. I was initially hesitant to proceed with a third party, but I cannot express how grateful I am that I did.

Nicholas Everdell’s guidance this cycle was invaluable. I decided to apply relatively late in the cycle, submitting my applications in early to mid-January. With a 3.6 GPA and an even worse graduate GPA, I was unsure if I had a shot at top law schools. Nick pushed me to take the necessary time to refine and perfect each of my essays and his editing assistance helped to transform my applications. His insight into the admissions process allowed me to avoid the common pitfalls faced by applicants who follow online admissions advice. He ensured that every element of my application was perfect and answered every question I had quickly, no matter how silly it was. I am attending my top choice T14 school in the fall and I cannot recommend Nick enough to other applicants!

On August 31st, I will attend my first class at Harvard Law School. With a sub-3.5 GPA, I did not believe HLS was in the cards for me. Luckily, during the 2021-2022 admission cycle, I was working with Joe Pollak. Joe challenged me to re-write significant portions of my personal statement and showed me that I could create a better impression with admissions offices by streamlining my GPA addendum.
